Sore Muscles? Just Roll with it!

Have you ever gotten out of bed in the morning after a particularly strenuous workout and not been able to walk to the bathroom?  Maybe you were unable to sit down once you got there?  Have you experienced being unable to blow dry your own hair or did you struggle to get your arms above your head to put your shirt on?   If you exercise then you know exactly what I am talking about. If you don’t, then chances are you’re not yet pushing yourself hard enough. Seriously. But that’s for another day.

There have been times after a new workout where I was unable to get down the stairs in my house without cursing under my breath with each step.  Muscle soreness is something athletes and general exercisers have to deal with on a regular basis.  Finding something besides ibuprofen to help us recover can be difficult, but it’s important to seek healthier natural alternatives first.  Many of us don’t have the time or the money to hire a massage therapist to work out our aches and pains.  That is why I am in love with my foam roller.
